Evaluation of sound editing

Evaluation of sound mixing Introduction For my first sound mixing project, I had to select a short scene, listen to it intently and add my own voice over to this scene. The scene I chose was from the wire and it was a scene when main character, Omar is coming to collect something from people who owe him. The following will discuss how I eventually made voice over for him and how editing went for me. The Editing Process To get the voice over for Omar I had to both listen to how he talks and do a little overview of his character. Omar, in the show, never swears or curses which is evident in this scene with his choice of words. He could have said something explicit or destructive about how he is going to blow down the doors to their houses but he instead says "imma huff and imma puff" which is a reference to the three little piggies. Based on this analysis I scripted my voice over so that it rhymes and that has a lighter touch to it because I did not want him to sou
